I recently ordered two Juice Beauty Green Apple products from SkinStore.com. I received the one item in a fairly quick manner, and was satisfied with that. However, I received an email telling me the other item was out of stock and on backorder. I was sure the item was in stock when I ordered it, so I decided to check the website. Sure enough, it was in stock. When I looked at my order, however, I realized that I had goofed, and had chosen the sensitive skin formula instead of the full-strength. It was definitely my mistake. I didn't think it would be a big deal to change my order to switch from the sensitive skin to the full-strength formula.

I used the live on-line customer service. When I explained what happened, the customer svc rep told me that the only thing she could do is cancel the sensitive skin item from the current order, and then I would have to place a new order for the full-strength. I told her fine, then looked at my receipt and saw the 20% discount I had gotten with the original order. When I asked if I would get that discount again, she said no. I asked her to not cancel the sensitive skin formula, and I would just wait for that to come in. She told me it was too late, and reminded me that I *had* told her to go ahead and cancel it. She offered to give me a code for 10% off, but I told her no thanks, I only ordered it originally because of the 20%. I told her I was just going to forget about ordering it at all. She then asked if there was anything else she could help me with. I told her that the only thing I wanted to do was switch out the formulas. She just said "Thanks for shopping at SkinStore.com. Have a nice day."

Now, I realize that I goofed, but I don't understand why it was such a big deal to switch one for the other. They obviously hadn't shipped the sensitive formula 'cause it wasn't in stock. I had hoped they would at least honor the discount if I had to place a new order. I'm disappointed that they wouldn't. I got the impression that they really didn't care.

I don't think I will shop here again.
