Robbed, thats how I feel right now. I ordered a guitar and hardcase, and got a good price from them, and the salesman was pleasent. When I ecieved the guitar (Washburn EAB19QB) the battery for the pickup had both screws stripped out and was hanging from the guitar. I assume this was a problem at washburn. Then I tried to put the guitar in the hard case to ship it back..it didn't fit in the case they sold me. So when I called them back to try an exchange the sales guy didn't call me back for two days. So I called and asked for a refund for my purchase..the girl on the phone said I would have to pay the $30 shipping...for a broken mismatched product....thanks sam ash. To summerize...I will never shop there again, nor would I advise anyone to order form them. I think it is wrong and unethical to take a consumers money when you screwed up. If I had just been shipping the guitar back because I didn't like it, it would be different. Most sites would be happy for the oppertunity to try and sell you something you like, and eat the shipping if they were responsible for the crap they sent you, and handle it internally. Not good business.
Update 7/20/09....Sam ash did not subtract the shipping from my refund. Thank you very much for doing so. It remains to be seen if it was due to this review,or good business that they did so. I recieved an email asking me to correct this review from them, so here you are. Thank you for your post-concern sam ash.
