I ordered two rug runners on March 12th and still have not received them. When I called RugsUSA.com, the operator stated that this was a special order and they would be sending them out by the end of March. I called last week and received an e-mail confirmation that the rugs would be shipped by April 13, 2007. Also, RugsUSA.com stated they would send me a tracking e-mail by Friday, April 13th. I still have not received my e-mail to track delivery nor have I received my purchase. I am dismayed by this vendor and will not recommend them to anyone or use them myself again.

I purchased rug on 3/27/2007. To date I have not received the rug. When I called to find out why I did not get a clear answer, just that it would take 2-3 weeks before it was ready to be shipped. I don't understand why a rug that was in the clearnce section is taking so long to ship. I do hope that I receive the rus soon. It was an excellent price which is why I said that I would shop here again, I am willing to give them another chance, pending that I do receive my purchase soon.

i ordered on 3/24. on 3/27 my account was charged and i was sent an email thanking me for ordering. i contacted the company 9days later to ask for a tracking# or shipping info, and was rudely told by customer service that i had already been emailed the rug was backordered until the end of may told her the initial email stated that i would not be charged until the rug shipped, and had been charged the same day. she said i would be credited. 5 days later i filled out a survey like this one from yahoo, (i STILL had not been credited) and was finally contacted by someone nicer the following day she apologized and said my account had been credited (it took 3days)and the rug would be in the beginning of may. i'm still waiting for my rug and i still haven't changed my mind. this is by far the WORST online shopping experience i've ever had, and i shop online alot.

I ordered 4 braided rugs and only received 1 in the initial shipment. Rugs USA apologized for the error and immediately ordered the other rugs to be sent out. Unfortunately only 2 were sent on the second shipment, leaving me still 1 rug short. This required another phone call, another apology, and the last rug is being shipped now. Customer service was very helpful and apologetic and rectified the situation quickly. Although there was a mix-up on the order, Rugs USA was very accomodating in making it right. I would order from them again.

I'll be happy to take this survey... when I receive the merchandise. It has been almost 3 weeks... Where is my rug? Additionally, I was just e-mailed another sale for 20% off - since I haven't gotten my order and more discounts are being offered, I think it only reasonable that you take an additional 10% off the cost of my rug. Site claims that they will contact you by phone or e-mail if product is back ordered. When no information showed up online in the link RugsUSA sent me, I contacted them via "Live Online Chat". Only then was I informed rug was back-ordered and scheduled to ship March 19 (ordered March 11). As of March 23rd, no shipping information had been rec'd and online order tracking contained no useful info, so re-contacted via e-mail. No response rec'd as of April 1. Contacted again on April 1 and awaiting response. In the meantime, I get weekly e-mails trying to sell me more...yeah right...they can't seem to provide any info on what I've already bought! I would be hesitant to ever buy from them again and am seriously considering cancelling. The product they offer is available via many other e-tailers.

2 Days after order, Mr. Martinborough emailed that Anchors Away 5 x 8 would be unavilable until late March....what to do? I replied by email to cancel Anchors Away 5 x 8 on Feb 16. On March 22, I got an email that it was about to be shipped. I called not to ship it....it was shipped anyway.
Part two. I needed a return authorization for Nantucket - green and Sail Away. Over two weeks later I got the authroization for Sail Away and for Anchors Away 5 x 8--the rug that had been cancelled and I had not yet shipped it. Over one month later, I still have no return authorization for Nantucket--still in its original package at my house. I have send over half a dozen emails and made 4 phone calls to get this straight and it is still a mess. I'll probably just end up donating the rugs to charity for a tax deduction...but six weeks of frustration have definitely convinced me that I will never order anything again from RUGS USA. Since my husband and I are building one house and remodelling another, they have lost future business. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The one problem I encountered was that my second order did not show up on tracking with status and it was impossible to tell if they even acknowledged the order. It turned out that hte order was on track, but the tracking system didn't show it.
