They do not follow through with orders and notifiy customers about order status.

I am very dissatisfied with the ordering of our stove.  I ordered a stove (http://www.rainbowappliance.com/P36S.htmlhttp://www.rainbowappliance.com/P36S.html) back on 9-21-09.  At the time I was told that is was backed ordered and would be 2-3 weeks for delivery. About 2 weeks later I called to check on the order.  It was a Friday, the rep said she would call me back in 1/2 hour.  An hour later I called only to find that the office was closed and had been for almost an hour.  I left a message to call me back.  On that Monday I finally called and was told that it was still backed order and that it's a 4-6 week delivery from the time I ordered it.  Then on 10-28-08 (over 1 month later) I called again to check on the order.  I was told that it was discontinued and that they had a different stove that was in stock that could be shipped on 11-2-09. Style: Sealed Burners w/ 10" Stainless SteelBackguard) and that we would receive it on 11-9-09.  Today, 11-5-09, I called to check on the order only to find that it was not shipped and that it never got cleared by the supervisor to proceed with the order.  It now suppose to be shipped tomorrow, 11-6-09 and to be received late next week.
During this whole process at no time was I ever notified about the delays, or that it was discontinued and not shipped when it was suppose to be.  I only knew because I called and did all the follow up.  This stove is for a church and during the month of November we house the homeless at the church.  With the idea back in September that we would have a stove before November we went with the order.  Now we are hosting the homeless with no stove for their breakfast.
There seems to be no format at Rainbow Appliance to follow orders through from the ordering time to the delivery time.  If I did not do all the calling I would still be sitting here waiting for my original discontinued order with no correspondence from Rainbow Appliance of the status of my order.  For all my inconvenience I was offered an extended 1 year warranty or $25.00 off.
