I first stumbled upon PetFoodDirect.com while doing a Google search for Four Paws Wee Wee Training pads. I have an 18yr old cat who has arthritic legs and it's much easier for her to urinate on these pads than trying to get into a litter box.

The PetFoodDirect.com website is simple in appearance, quick loading, and easy to navigate. With a red, white, and blue color scheme and clickable product categories on the left hand side it's easy to find what you're looking for. The site is low on frills and not fancy or high tech like the big name stores who have bricks and mortar locations. But the pages load quickly and the product pictures are clear and adequately described.

I have to admit that I placed my first order with them only because they had the best price total after shipping on the Wee Wee pads. An added bonus is that they're listed as merchant at the Upromise website. At the moment the cash back is 5% when shopping via the Upromise website. And on top of that there is always a coupon code available somewhere if you google. Currently the PetFoodDirect.com website has a 5% instant savings coupon offer but from my experience I've always been able to find a higher value coupon code by using a search engine.

I've shopped at this website at least five time in the last twelve months. I've NEVER been disappointed! Check-out is very simple. They don't have a requirement of registering at the site so you don't have to worry about remembering a password for logging in. And the site does not keep your payment method and address on file. This is something I really like because I'm just not comfortable with a website saving my credit card information for possible future purposes.

Shipping charges are reasonable to average. My total order is usually at least 20lbs and shipping is in the $10-$11 range. Shipping charges are based on the weight of your order. In addition to ordering the 100 count Wee Wee pads 23" x 24" pad (100-pack), I usually add treats.

What impressed me the most with this lesser known store is that I've received ALL of my orders within ONE WEEK of placing my order. My items have always arrived complete and in good shape. A packing slip is always included. And I've always received emails confirming order placement and shipment.

I've never had the need to call them but their website clearly lists a toll-free number...

"We also believe that sometimes you need to talk to a real person. So, you can call us toll-free at 1-800-865-1333 to place your order...or to ask a question."

I think that's a nice personal touch.

Based on their pricing, excellent communication, value, and speedy shipments I highly recommend this website. When I'm low on pads and need a new box within a week I'm confident that they'll get my order to me on time. In fact there have been times when I could have bought my pads at another online retailer for a few dollars less but I've ordered through PetFoodDirect.com because of their speedy shipping!
