I am a frequent online purchaser and this was by far the worst experience. They sent me the completely wrong item, made me pay for shipping it back to them. then sent me the wrong item AGAIN.

Ordered product by description, and received the wrong product. Was told by CSR that I should have looked-up the MFG # for the product. I pointed him to description of the product, which was clearly wrong. Got an unhappy response that my RMA email will arrive in 3-5 days!?! Waiting for RMA email now...

I ordered in-stock products from 3 online merchants the same day (1/29). My credit card was immediately confirmed by all 3 merchants. It took PC Universe 3 days to fill my order, while the other merchants had it shipped by 1/30. I am yet to receive an actual FedEx or UPS tracking number from PC Universe and have already received the items from the other merchants. If this is the case with all customers, I cant see how PC Universe stays in business.

the item i bought had broken power cord. there is no receipt enclosed, so i do not know how to return. the device isn't working properly. it is an external hard disk drive by LaCie and the computer does not recognize it. neither mine nor my friend's. i felt very sad about buying this drive and very disappointed in PC Universe.

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! I ordered a digital frame for 183.00 and after charging my credit card, I received e-mail after e-mail from PC universe stating "We are unable to process your order due to an address verification issue." and to "Please contact PC Universe Customer Service at (877) 873-7155 to resolve this issue." I called numerous times but received a recorded message stating the lines were busy and to call back later. I sent e-mail after e-mail to the on line customer services address and never received a response. I ended up having to submit a dispute to my credit card company to obtain a refund.

I ordered an underwater case for my Canon digital camera. PC Universe offered the lowest price of all the vendors I had researched. Ordering from their website was easy, though I did have to call my credit card to set up a shipping address because it wasn't the same as my billing address. I suppose I can't complain about that - it's just extra security. I received 3 messages from PC Universe - one confirming my order, one confirming credit card approval, and one indicating that my order had shipped (came with a FedEx tracking number). I placed my order on a Monday, and it arrived that Wednesday. I was very happy with my experience.

I enjoyed shopping at PC Universe. Everything went really well except for the fact that I had to try to order 5 times to complete just one order. They were having site problems so I called in and they couldn't do anything there either because the site was acting up. After an hour, another phone call, and 2 more attempts online, my order was placed. PC Universe is a great store, with great prices, and great sales people at their 1-800 number. I would say that I had a great experience with them even with the site problems because things like that are not avoidable. Problems happen and I am sure that PC Universe was doing its very best at the time to correct everything. Thanks PC Universe!

I found these guys randomly but they had great prices and reasonable shipping. There were two items ordered and although they came separately they both came quicker then advertised so I was more then happy. I'd easily use them again after this experience.

BUYER BEWARE - this is by far the worst online shopping experience i've had. made a mistake ordering a printer (deep in the information it said 220V) i called for a return authorization. i was told to wait for about 3 days; again called customer service and still have been waiting 2 more weeks since with no customer service and NO follow up. i would never buy here again and would recommend STEAR CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY, BAD EXPERIENCE -ALSO FOUND BETTER PRICES ELSEWHERE - DO A SEARCH ON YOUR PRODUCT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY, THIS COMPANY SUCKS

Its funny how mostly all the people who posted high ratings for PC Universe only have posted 1 review in their life time. I'm not convinced.
I, on the other hand, HIGHTLY disreccommand this vendor! Like many others who have reviewed this vendor or scam on Epinions.com, I've experienced the lack of customer support and all I have to say about this vendor is that it is quite obviously a scam! I am so disappoint as I placed my order 2 weeks ago and never received an e-mail conformation or order number. At the time I placed my order there were supposedly 32 available in stock. suddenly, the its "OUT OF STOCK". I am still trying to resolve this matter as I write this review. |

I placed an order for a backpack they said they had in stock - still say it's in stock. The price was excellent. Though a few days later I get an e-mail saying they are out of stock and will take 4-6 weeks to get more in. Since then, their website shows they have 2 available though mine is still on backorder. Customer support says they're not sure when they'll get more in now.

I recently placed an order with PC Universe. The order was placed June 7th. I selected overnight shipping and express processing to make sure that we would have everything in the office by June 9th. June 8th, I was notified that the credit card did not go through. I called customer support to remedy the problem, but they were no help. They would not try the card again, and told me to contact my credit card company. I explained that I already had, and there was plenty of room left on the card. On top of this, I had to have the package shipped to a home address because the credit card did not match the office address. Basically, in my experience with their company I've seen nothing but unprofessionalism and unhelpfulness. I was not able to get the order in the time frame I had expected, and I feel that the order was not processed or shipped in a timely manner. I finally received my order June 14th.

I've ordered a couple of times and been very satisfied with the experience. On my most recent order we needed a printer ASAP. I paid $100 for 2nd day air shipping and the extra $3.99 for them to expedite my order. The order was placed around 3:00 pm on Tuesday and I just got confirmation that the order shipped at 11:20 am Thursday. Obviously I was hoping for quicker service than this.
I will order from them again, but I'll never waste money on the "expedite order" option again. |
