BEWARE OF UNSTATED NO CANCELLATION POLICY.  - UPDATED

UPDATE:   After several discussions with Richard, we have come to an agreement on product and delivery of the Comfortaire GS 1100 and L&P base.  Richard worked earnestly with us to address concerns regarding the products and price.  He personally accompanied the delivery truck to ensure set up was completed to our satisfaction.    However, our original complaint still remains, the store has a no cancellation policy that is not disclosed during the sales process nor on receipts

I would caution anyone considering a mattress from Nationwide Mattress.   They have a "No Cancellation" policy that is not stated.   We purchased a mattress with a 1-2 week delivery date.   We called to cancel the order 6 days after the order (before delivery) and have been told they have a "No Cancellation Policy" and "we are not required to tell you there is a no cancellation policy."    Your money is best spent with a reputable/honest business.

The sales person (Mark) was very helpful during our store visit.   He stated that the mattress would be ordered and would be assembled at the factory and delivered to the store.   Once the store had received the mattress delivery would be scheduled with us.   Little did we know that the description he gave of the mattress being made after the order was placed was secret language to tell us there was no cancellation available.   

I called to cancel the order BEFORE they contacted us to tell us the mattress was ready.   What kind of business doesn't take a return or cancellation before a product is even delivered?  This is not a custom made mattress.   It implies that Nationwide Mattress cannot/does not stand behind their products.   It makes you wonder how they handle a warranty issue - if there is even a warranty.
  

Beware - get all documentation in writing - ask questions about returns and cancellations, then buy from an honest business.
