The website is very good, and this hard-to-find product came much quicker than expected.  The only two gripes that I have are that I paid extra for an extra light shade, and it did not come, and when I tried to report the problem on the "click here if you're not completely satisfied" link, I was directed to a blank page.  I wanted to give Mercantilia the opportunity to correct the situation, but maybe this is the only way.

The delivery of my order was very prompt and the item arrived in perfect condition.  The delivery person was kind enough to help my wife get the package into the house since I wasn't home at the time and the package was quite large and heavy.  The shopping experience on the site was pleasant and the ordering process was a breeze.

I have had a horrible experience with Mercantila after ordering a Trampoline from them.  I wish I had researched better and found this website.  I would have definitely not ordered from them.  The delivery was on time, and the ordering was easy, but the customer service is HORRIBLE.  I have NEVER had an experience this bad!!  They sent me the wrong item, and will not return my calls as they keep promising.  I finally went to AMEX and disputed the charge.  Maybe now they will take care of this or be out their $380.  After seeing all the bad experiences on this site, I wonder if a class action law suit is in order??? Sounds like a lot of fraud going on.

I ordered a pub table from this company in March of 09.  When I finally received it  3 week later, it was the wrong table not at all the table they had pictured.  Initially I was promised a return label and waited about a week for it.  I called back and was told it would be emailed to me.  After about 8 emails and 5-6 phone calls (including one that I was put on hold for 40min)to different customer service reps I decided to check epinions.com.  Wow!  Same stories different product.  I filed a dispute charge with credit card company.  July of 09 I finally got an return label from Mercantila.com!!!!  I sent out the table and I thought this ordeal was over.  Fed Ex confirmed delivery to their company on July 21.  On August 1 my credit card company was rebilled by Mercantila.com and now my credit card company has to start the dispute process all over again. Totally Fraudulent company, stealing peoples money!!!!!!

I recently purchased a Strong Lite Standard Plus massage table from Mercantila Online store. The table arrived in perfect condition and within the time frame quoted to me. The massage table I purchased for my daughter was exactly as described on- line.  Quality is great, table is built sturdy!  My husband and I were impressed since we were her 1st clients. I ordered the rowing/recumbent bike on a Thursday evening and received it the following Monday.  Perfect.  No problems with shipping - tracking number was provided and it arrived on time. 

All the parts were there.  It was fairly easy to assemble.  The only problem I had was one part was difficult to put together and I needed a second pair of hands for help.  

I've been using it every day since.  Great product.  Great price.  Excellent delivery. 

I will order from them again.  The price was terrific and delivery was on time and the product arrived undamaged.

This was a very good shopping experience. When placing my order on a late Thursday, I was expecting my Poolvergnuegen pool cleaner to arrive the following week. Much to my supprise it was shipped overnight and my pool was up and running by Friday. I highly recommend shopping with Mercantila.

After ordering through Mercantila via "The Coffee Table Superstore" the process has been an endless series of frustrations (including being billed but not receiving product, as of a month+ since ordering). In short, after this one experience, I wouldn't ever buy from them again.

Mercantila seems to be a questionable enterprise (search for their name and Better Business Bureau: an "F" rating and their accreditation was revoked on August 26, 2008 with hundreds of registered complaints).

Do yourself a favor: look elsewhere.

Website clearly states "NO SALES TAX", but it was added to my invoice. Website also states several "Best Reasons To Purchase From Them"... One reason was "Pay No Sales Tax". Misleading at the very least. 
I wrote them a letter expressing my disappointment for being charged sales tax and suggested that they should refund the sales tax charged... they wrote back and said since they were located in California, sales tax had to be charged.
Okay, but the site I started on was not in California and again it clearly stated "NO SALES TAX" and also offered a $25 gift certificate, which I have never received. And to add insult to injury when I received the receipt they again gave me the "Best Reasons To Purchase From Them"... One reason was "Pay No Sales Tax".
They're big on pushing this no tax theme, but don't back it up..!! 
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT... BUT NOT THE RETAILER...Sorry..!!

The ladder bookcase arrived promptly and in excellent condition. It went together easily. To fit it in a flatpack box it is understandable why the side pieces are in two parts. I thought this was a product from North Carolina but a sticker says Made in China.

Ordering went smoothly and I was surprised by the additional savings given upon checkout.  The company called and followed up with our order to let us know exactly when we could expect our equipment.  They even offered us an unbelievable extended warranty plan.  The recumbent/rower arrived on time and the quality of the item is fantastic!  It took only a few hours for me to put together.  I would order from them again.

Oh how I wish I had read the previous reviews when I placed an order with Mercantila.  They are TERRIBLE!  I ordered a bunk bed with mattresses included.  Received the bed with NO mattresses and it has been a nightmare ever since dealing with their customer DISservice department.  Rude staff, the same old answers about "you will receive an email response within 2 days" etc. etc. etc. and I still don't have the mattresses, nor any assurance whatsoever from Mercantila that I am ever going to get them.  What frauds!!
