I received a mouse that I couldn't use

My aunt bought me a personalized mouse from the Lillian Vernon catalog for Christmas.  She's older and doesn't know too much about computers, so I don't blame her.

The first thing I noticed when I looked at the mouse was that it had two buttons (no click wheel).  I don't think I've used a mouse without a click wheel for 10 years, but the mouse still looked nice.

Then I turned the mouse over and noticed that it had a track ball.  I haven't had a track ball mouse in over 6 years, and I can't imagine why anyone would make one in 2008.

Finally I saw the serial port.  My computer doesn't even have a serial port and even if I wanted to use this I would have to buy a converter.

In my opinion selling a product like this is irresponsible, and Lillian Vernon is taking advantage of people that don't know anything about computers that are trying to buy a nice gift for someone that does.

The website should at least come with an accurate description of the mouse.  I wouldn't go as far as to say they are falsely advertising, because the description doesn't include any of the features I mentioned, but I would never buy a mouse without those features, and neither would someone that knows what they are buying.
