Placed an online order on 12/12. Received a follow up email that my order will DEFINITELY arrive before 12/25. On 12/21 I received another email that 3 of my items are not available. Why would it take 9 days to figure that out??? If I had been notified within a couple of days, I would have had time to shop the stores for the coat my daughter had requested for Christmas. Having 2 small children, I will not even think of taking them into the stores these last few days before Christmas. That is why I do most of my shopping online. This was my first Kohl's order. But unfortunately it was not a good experience. I just looked online and these 3 items are still showing as available. So I called customer service. She stated that the one item has come back in-stock but the other two (including the coat) are not available. She added that their inventory is not always updated. (So other trusting online customers can continue to be misled.) With present technology, updated inventory should be the norm. It is at other sites. I wish I had read many of the other postings prior to counting on my order to arrive. Seems others have had a similar terrible experience. I would highly caution ordering from Kohl's.com.
PS They did email a 15% off coupon for my next order. But they mail those out on a regular basis anyways. So no thanks, I will go back to the sites I know I can rely on.
