After buying the Osburn 2200 wood insert from Homeclick.com I realized I needed a liner to go with my wood insert. I did a quick search and found that the liner was going for about the same price at Barbeques.com and another competitor, so I bought it. What a big mistake! When it came time to install it my chimney guy asked me how much I paid for the liner ($875). He laughed at me. He told me that this kit only costs $475.00, he showed me the catalog. I was pretty upset when I saw this! $400.00 markup, come on! Immediately I thought, well I will just return it. Wrong, upon contacting Homeclick customer service to start the return process I find out that there is a 25% restocking fee ($218.00) + shipping (approx. 40+). Upon doing the math I figured now I would only be saving about $100 (if I returned it and went with my chimney guy). I decided it was not worth the headache, so I kept it.

Bottom line, shop around and check out company's return policy before you order. I will never buy from Homeclick.com again. There are other company’s out there that don’t charge for returns. Lesson learned.
