If you want to be FRUSTRATED!!!! by all means use HomeCenter.com. This company has NO customer service!!!
I ordered a lavatory sink in September, I was surprised at how quickly it came. But when it arrived, I realized that I wanted it in another color, so as soon as it arrived I shipped it back (incurring a 20% restocking fee and return shipping costs) I thought this was steep, but was ok with it.
I immediately order the sink in the other color. When it arrived it was not what I believed I ordered. Based upon the picture and information I gave the order taker, I expected this second sink to have 4 holes not one. They told me that they put the disclaimer on their pictures for just this reason. The picture doesnt always match the product. I was told that I should have specified four holes
.even though I didnt know that it came with any other option. They could get me the sink I wanted, but it would be nearly $150 more due to their quick ship program and they would "graciously reduce the restocking fee to 15%. I reluctantly agreed, feeling like I had no other option because I had a contractor waiting to finish the remodel.
I ship this errant sink back to them, (confirmed with UPS of arrival) I waited the 30 days for my refund to appear on my credit card. No refund. I got a call from the sales person saying that there was some confusion, but that they got the sink (Dec) I waited for my refund to appear. NO REFUND! I called them, I left a message... Over and over for 3 months. NO Return phone call. I email them three times, NO response. (Still no refund)
I finally got a return call in March from someone in their refund department. The lady said they had no record of the sink being received. I gave her the tracking information, she placed me on hold, and when she returned, she said they would refund my account. I told her that I was not satisfied with the refund amount, due to the extreme delay in processing my refund and I wanted to speak to a supervisor. She placed me in the supervisors email.
Four days later the supervisor called. She did not listen to what I told her about my experience to date with Homecenter.com. I explained my displeasure with the extreme delay in my refund. She said they would not do anything else about it. She was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I asked to speak to her supervisor, she hung up on me.
I will try yet again to contact someone about this issue, but I don't expect the customer service to be any different than I've experienced thus far.
When it's all over I will have paid over $650 for a sink advertised on their website for $300, due to the "quick ship" on the third sink and two restocking fees. That's AFTER my refund (when I get it)!!!
SO if you want to be treated VERY POORLY, and PAY more than you should, then by all means, buy from Homecenter.com
