A not so good experience. I ordered the item, was indicated available. Went through the whole on-line purchase scenario. Later that day I got an e-mail stating that the item was not available. The procedure wasted my time.

i have purchased from heartland for some years, by cattlelog ,this is 2nd? time on line ,seems to be excellent service. received on 6th day ,with a weekend included ,was suprised so quick.(Mn to Oregon).the product far exceeds their ad description ,am very happy with it . however promotion was a bit misleading for any order ,,said $10.00 off and free shipping,,but actually with the 10.00 off, then you still had to pay shipping and handling.

I HAVE ORDERED AT LEAST $1000 WORTH OF MERCHANDISE FROM HEARTLAND AND THIS IS THE FIRST RETURN I HAD TO MAKE. THE CASE OF THE MP3 PLAYER WAS OPEN WHEN I OPENED THE BOX AND WOULD NOT CLOSE. I HAVE SUBMITTED A REFUND OFF MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT WHICH STILL HAS NOT BEEN CREDITED.

Good experience, but description of merchandise could be better. For example, the boat shoes would be ideal for boat wear only. However the soles are thin and you can feel even a pebble when wearing them on dry land.

I ordered my item they said they recieved the order and charged my account. Did not give me a tracking number or any reason when item would ship or not. So I sit and wait knowing nothing except I paid for something. Ken Gaines

I made several orders from heartland and with one exception and another minor issue am satisfied. the one exception was one customer service rep I spoke to after a web order added on a 'slim leather wallet' by having a little bubble checked that I did not notice. that woman told me to use the contact us email form and that she did not have time to talk to me. She had spoken to me about an earlier order I wanted to change and had hung up on me when I was typing into the computer the info she was telling me to. I don't know who she was, but everyone else I spoke to there was great. the minor issue is that I returned a 100 LED flashlight that had malfunctioned and was under extended warrantee. They sent a replacement which was good, but the box it came in was bent up some and there was one dead LED light out of full set. I didn't think it was worth the time and effort to find a package that would fit it since the box the replacement came in was damaged enough that I don't think the post office would have accepted it, and it would have taken another two weeks or more and even if they did send me the prepaid postage label, I'd want insurance and delivery confirmation, which would mean I'd have to pay postage anyway. So they offerred a $5.00 complementary coupon and I said okay. This isn't a complaint--but a comparison. I bought something from Cabelas--a serving set of stoneware for my cabin, and the sugar bowl top was broken, in about a hundred pieces. They simply sent me a new one and told me to keep the rest of the old one as it was too expensive to ship it back. It would have been nice if Heartland followed that type of policy.
