Full review
I decided to order from them after finding out about their sale on "limited edition" music Ginger Jars, made in China. The pictures just did them an injustice, they bear a resemblance to a "dollar" store's assortment of knick-knacks. I am so disappointed in the quality; the pictures of the jars were so pretty. Thank goodness they are limited, to a million?
The first shipment did not contain my entire order. The packing slip did not have any indication of the status of the other items. The second and third slips have the information.
This company is also an affiliate at several on-line rebate sites. Many years ago I ordered from their catalog with no problems. By the way, their search engine comes up with irrelevant results. I may upgrade them to below average, as there are worse merchants.

Shortly after submitting my order, the next day perhaps? Haband sent me a coupon for free shipping and a discount. After waiting all this time, I believe they should have honored the discount, at least on the second and third shipment.
Problems with product: One of the items is an Emerson battery powered touch-light with an alarm. This was in the first shipment, one of three. The alarm arrived scratched on the top left side, although it was in it's original bubble box. The light does not work, although I have changed the batteries. The item cost $3.99 before the coupon, and I have been going back and forth with this company. They offered to send a free shipping mailer. I do not want another one. I informed them it would cost them more in shipping than the item is worth. I guess they can have it. I've seen similar products at the local Walmrt, but I liked the fact that it has an alarm.
I have also tried to contact Emerson, but their e-mail link will not open. I have yet to try the toll-free number on the box.
Now here's the good part: My order was placed in March 29, 06, and I just received the other two ginger jars yesterday, from the "back-order." Last week, I asked them to cancel any pending orders. Last week, I finally received the remote control and some of the ginger jars.
At the time of purchase, they did not inform me that some of the items were on back-order, until I e-mailed them again and again about the missing merchandise. They should have asked, and I would have told them to cancel my other orders immediately as I may need to use my card for something else. The e-mail stated that they immediately charge any purchases, even if the item is not available. Now that ticks me off. I find this out Months after purchase.
I really truly believe they would have forgotten about me if I had not kept track of my purchases.
Positive: "wish list" feature (you hope and wish you receive your order in a timely fashion), you can supposedly easily check on the status of your order. After the first shipment, I checked my account status; it showed everything was shipped.
On April 15, my acct. status: "Order Status: We've received your order and have shipped all items." By the way, that was shipment two. Were they waiting for Santa to make the items first?
The best item are the Singer scissors. At this time, I do not know if the touch pad phone or the remote are operable. I'm afraid to test them.
Anyway, Haband says they warranty everything for life; they did offer to send UPS or Fedex, or USPS to pick up damaged or unwanted items. This store needs to divulge information about their stock immediately, and answer e-mails in a timelier fashion. I feel like packing up the lot of it, and they can have everything back but the scissors.
Signed,
