Ordered an HP laptop for my daughter for Christmas.
The fact that it didn't work was only the beginning of the nightmare experience. To make a VERY long story short, I spent over 5 hours in the next 5 days on the phone with call center people who were no help and hard to understand. When I finally asked how to return and get my credit ASAP I was told I would get a shipping label sent via e-mail. I needed to call back 2 more times to successfully get the e-mail. (And of course each call went through the call center people who asked for the same information I already gave 10 times.

The nightmare continued. The laptop was received by HP on Jan 3. When I still didn't get a credit by Jan 22 I called and was then told that the credit would be processed in the next 5 days. When I complained I was told "We have a real backlog on these!" I guess I wasn't alone in my problems with HP.


My advice ... don't buy from HP on-line. If you buy HP, pray that you don't have to deal with there helpless center.

With regard to HP, I have spent 2 days trying to order an adapter for my Compaq Presario. Calling on-line tech assistance over the past 2 days yielded no return and staff ignorant of the information they are relaying to customer as if non-thinking robots. The information given was completely different between 2 reps and to top it off, when I finally got them to understand the difference between a power cord and an adapter, they offered to charge me $20 over the cost of the same item through HP Home. I am extremely disappointed at the service through this "reputable" company -- their reputation should change to RIPOFF ARTISTS. I am sorry I ever bought their product. If this transaction falls through I will start spreading the word more fully about the HORRIBLE SERVICE. DON'T GO HERE.

Never again will I buy refurbish product from HP. I ordered two HP1905 monitors from HP and when they arrived they both had more damaged than you would expect. One had a missing button and many scratches, the other one had a damaged screen (one 3 inch long scratch on top corner and four smaller scratches). After a non satisfying customer service call I was able to send them back for replacement. When I received the replacement monitors, what a surprise even worst damage on the two monitors. Returned and never again!

BEWARE!!!!! After several good experiences, I will never deal with HP SHOPPING.com again. I received the wrong merchandise, it took more than 6 phone calls to get a refund, I was issued a coupon which was not valid and only one person followed through on their promised actions.

Great place to order a computer or other supplies! Their techs are helpful and have always solved any problem I've had. I'm on my second laptop and wouldn't shop anywhere else. They build your computer and get it to you as soon as it is done and I usually receive it within 5 days. I would highly recommend hpshopping.com to anyone who is looking to buy a hp or compaq computer.

HP Shopping SUCKS ...
I had a terrible experience at HP Shopping. After repeatedly checking the address information communicated over the phone was correct I was shocked to see that the confirmation e-mail showed a different address. After repeatedly calling hpshopping.com I was assured time and again that the address problem would be fixed.
I kept checking everyday with reps and supervisors I was assured each day that it will be delivered at the correct address.
I got a shocker of my lifetime when I found out that my expensive consigned was blindly delivered to incorrect address.
HP shopping is still assuring me that I would definitely receive the package. But I am so enervated calling them that I have almost given up now.
Fedex has requested us to lodge a police complaint if we would like the consignment to be recovered.
In short DO NOT BUY from HP Shopping.com. IT SUCKS...

This was an extremely easy tranasction from start to finish. We compared products and looked at reviews on shopping.com then chose this item. Still on shopping.com, we compared prices which took us to hpshopping.com. The site was very well organized and the item information was clear and complete. The ordering process was clear and efficient. We received emails as the order/shipping process proceeded and received the product 2 days after we received notice that it was shipped. We are very pleased with the Laserjet 3030. We actually replaced a large copier and another hp fax with this combo and so far, could not be happier with our choice.

I ordered a HP Media Center M1160N computer on a Friday afternoon and I had it Tuesday morning. I tried to track it online but after it got scanned in on Friday night (FedEx) ther wasn't anything else posted until I received it 3 days later. They could have put better tracking information for it but that's FedEx, not HP. Plus the FedEx driver was very careless and almost dropped it when he gave it to me. I did have to open the computer's case and move some wires away from a fan so it would quit making noise. But it runs great now and I am very satisfied. They said 5-7 business days and I had it in 3. I give HP and A and FedEx a C- for mishandling and tracking and would gladly by from them again.
