I have yet to receive my order since buying it on December 4, 2006. I can not believe that I still have not received this table. I am very upset because this was a Christmas present for my mother, who is suffering with breast cancer and can not get around much. This item would have been perfect for her. I believe that I should be compensated for such an aweful delay in shipment. I paid on time and expected your company to send the table to me on time. What am I to do? Where is the table, and if I am not going to receive it within the next few days, I want a full refund. I will never order from your company again. I will let everyone know, including the local news, that your company takes money from people and does not send the product. Let me know when this will be rectified ASAP. I want someone to call me tomorrow. They have my phone number on file.

Customer service was amazing...they answered every e-mail, helped me to get just the bed I wanted. The bed frame is awesome. It arrived in great shape. I was very satisfied with my purchase, and even know a bit about bringing items through customs in Canada now. And even though the shipping was allot to come from the US, the bed was worth it.

My order was late, however, it was during the Christmas/Holiday season, so that was not too much of a concern. When I opened the box I was short a pillow sham and a bed skirt. I thought, oh boy this ought to be fun, but to my surprise, it was very easy! I talked to a very pleasant and informative customer service representative who told me I would receive it free of charge in a couple of weeks! I thought again, yeah right, I won't ever see those items. Again, I was suprised, they showed up at my door a couple of weeks later and free of charge just like she said!!! I would definetly order from there again.

Ordered bed set, received the rails and headboard, no foot board. Ordered it 11/17/06, delivered incomplete on 12/28/06/. Called company, was told she would contact the warehouse and have it sent immediately. I asked if she was sure they even HAD the product. Said she would call and find out. I left my work # and home # and still did not received a phone call as to if the item is on the way. I will be calling again this week.

I had to contact them repeatedly to check the status of my order. When it finally arrived, it was the wrong lamp. They deal with distibutors outside of their company (which they don't tell you at first) and it takes a long time for them to contact them. Also, they never contacted me as promised, I always had to recontact them. Very dissatisfied!

The item was ordered on Sept 26 with an estimated delivery of 5-6 weeks, it was delivered 12 weeks later, over 6 weeks late. It proved difficult to find out the status of the order but finally it was resolved. It arrived and is spectacular but it was to come with tempered glass and it arrived with plexiglass a call has been made to correct that and we are waiting for a return call. Based on the uniqueness of the item and the quality we saw once it arrived, I would order again but we wary of delivery times.

The microwave stand had to be assembled. Two parts were broken. I reordered parts and received incorrect parts. I reordered again. This process was very easy, albeit a bit frustrating that you can not get correct replacements. I also do not agree with a company policy that you only have 24 hours to deal with a problem, but the merchant's customer service people are very professional and polite. Re: Question 7 - I may purchase from them again, but said "no" because it is less likely than likely. It's a mixed bag with this merchant as far as quality of product goes. The merchant has a nice selection (wide variety) of items. I would add "maybe" to your options on #7 question.

I purchased a glass topped dining table with a wooden base. The table is beautiful! The order came within the timeframe specified. First delivery the glass tabletop was broken. Replacement came within the time specified. The damage/cancellation policy is a bit daunting when read but overall the transaction went fine. I'd buy from this company again.

When I didn't receive the product in 3-8 business as the website said I could expect, I called Customer Service. I was told product was backordered but that it would be in from the mfg by that Friday. I waited another week, called to check status and told it was coming in THAT Friday.
At that point, (I needed the furniture quicker than the backorder would allow) so I asked if I could change the styles of nightstand if my second choice would ship quicker. I was assured by customer service that I could, and she even called the mfg while I was on the phone and came back to tell me it would be shipping out from the mfg to them that very night (a Wednesday)! She said I would get an email confirmation of the change in order within 15 minutes.
I never received the confirmation, so I was concerned. Instead of changing my order that Wednesday, I received a confirmation the following week and that the order was processed the following Monday. At that point it took about a week to ship ground.
I will never use this company again for any purchases. Their website is very tough to navigate (it makes it almost impossible just to browse; it is far too specific) and the service and delays were completely awful.
I am a very dissatisfied customer with furnitureontheweb.com!

TV stand was supposed to be a wood frame with a cherry finish and glass shelves, but it's PLASTIC including the legs. I stopped there it was no need to finish unpacking it to check out the glass and now I have to pay $23.10 to ship it back. Why should I pay the shipping cost when the company misrepresented the product as being wood. I contacted the company to complain and was told that after they receive it back a supervisor would examine it and make a determination of refunding the shipping cost. Yeah right!!! What determination needs to be made IT'S PLASTIC!!! I have a wood and glass one in my living room I know the difference.

After ordering a canopy bed in early August, it is 2 months later, and I still do not have a bed that is not damaged. They shipped me yet a 3rd footboard (shipped a whole bed for some reason, mind you) that is damaged in the same way. They advised today that I am supposed to pay for shipping to return the damaged goods. They are in for a surprise. Same experience as the others here, poor product and the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

When the table and chairs finally arrived, we were very impressed with the quality of our furniture. Everything was in perfect condition in part due to excellent packing. I was going on a family vacation two weeks after I placed the original order. I however call the company to state that I had mis-ordered and wanted to include the bar stools with the bar. This was my fault and delayed the shipment just enough that it came after we left for our vacation. My neighbor accepted the packages in my absense and all was good upon my return home. They were all very easy to assemble and were in great conidition!
