Endless.com specializes in shoes and bags, and I am very glad it caught my attention with an offer of free overnight shipping and a $10 rebate on any pair of sandals. In fact, I must have been experiencing a moment of weakness, because my normal attitude to the proposition of ordering shoes online is NO WAY! The thing is that, being picky, I find it impossible to shop for shoes without trying them on first. I am also afraid of identity theft and find it difficult to return stuff to a faceless entity on the Internet.
What tipped the balance in Endless favor was the promise of free no-hassle return, which basically allows you to try their footwear on. I decided that there was nothing to lose and started browsing bravely searching for some comfortable flats. And I didnt regret it!
This online store has a good selection of brands and styles that should suit practically any taste. (Well, some of their harlot heels and boots are ridiculous but thats a different story.) The store has pretty good prices on some (but not all) of the shoes. But its up to you to pick what you want, without any salesperson pressure.
On the negative side, I have to say that while a good-looking pair of flip-flops (on sale! And with rebate! And free shipping!) was very easy to find, it took some serious searching to find my favorite ballet slippers by Clarks. There was a wide selection of shoes by that maker, but for some reason, the exact model I wanted just did not come up when I entered it. I had almost given up, when it came up among tons of other flats in some obscure corner of the site.
But once I did find the shoes I wanted, it turned out that I could get them for about half the price I had paid for a previous pair (yes, I love them that much!) a year ago. Whats not to like?! I loaded both pairs in my shopping cart and proceeded to checkout. That part of the transaction was uneventful, but the good part came when I actually got my two pairs of shoes the very next day having paid something like $70 for both.
When I tried the shoes on, I was absolutely happy about the familiar ballet slippers, of course: I knew exact size I needed. The flip-flops turned out to be a poor choice, however: too tight for my high instep. And here comes the best part: THAT WAS NO PROBLEM! Following the instructions that came with the purchase, I went online to print a return label, put the shoes back in the box and sent them off early next morning. The shipping was free, and I got my money back within three days. These are the terms I can deal with!
So now I never hesitate to check out Endless, when looking for shoes. Even if I dont find what I need, it is worth a try. And a couple of times I even found something better than what I had in mind. The only annoying thing that I can complain of is that they are just showering me with e-mails: I am getting them at lest three times a week. Hello, guys: I dont need that many shoes, thank you.
On the whole, I would recommend this site, because it is reliable and quick. It also offers quite a few perks in all those e-mail messages that I complained about.
