The blu-ray player I ordered from EE was the best price I could find. I now know why. Their expedited shipping cost was $30 higher than Fedex or UPS overnight shipping charges which means they're pocketing $30 for nothing. EE is a bunch of crooks and have no problems mugging their customers. The player still took 6 days to arrive.........on Dec 24........luckily. That's not the worst of it. The player arrived in original packaging rather than being double boxed in packing peanuts or bubble wrap. The box had a large punture gash in its side, it had been opened and re-taped by EE and the firmware upgrade envelope had been opened. This item had obviously been returned by a previous customer. EE is notorius for these absurd shipping pratices as well as flooding opinion sites such as this and Amazon feedback with canned, phoney 5 star reviews. Amazingly, the player itself was undamaged and works well. Other reviews I've read suggest that returning an item to EE is like being dragged over barbed wire...........that's if you get through to them. Avoid this seller at all costs.......and I mean at ALL COSTS. Go ahead and pay the extra amount and buy through Best Buy, Circuit City or someone.
