Not only does DiscountOfficeItems offer a much broader range of products than Staples, Office Max and Office Depot, they provide multiple e-mail updates from order receipt to order shipment to order delivered. On this order, one item purchased had an incorrect website description, which Customer Service readily resolved much to my satisfaction. Only down side is unlike Staples, Office Max and Office Depot, I don't get coupon savings (typically 20% off).

The tracking information did not come through until 3 or 4 days after my order had been processed. My order arrived about a week after I had placed the order which is okay. I do like this merchant and will most likely order from them again in the future.

I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT INITIALLY I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY AS I HAD NEVER HEARD OF THEM. WOW, WAS I WRONG!! May not be the real brand. Could be counterfeit or knock-offs. I ordered Ampad pads. Noticed a difference in the color of the label, as if it was copied on a copy machine. Also notice the quality of the lined paper was different. Called Ampad for information. They sent me a sample of their pad with the original label which is darker. The paper was not the same.

I ordered some office supplies which I needed in a hurry. Discount Office Items had the products I needed at a great price - and their website indicated that I would receive my order the following business day. Unfortunately the order did not ship out that day, and it took an extra day to arrive. I was dissapointed, and emailed them just to let them know. It would have been nice to receive a reply to my email, but none came. Overall, I like Discount Office Items, and would shop there again because they have good prices and they do ship quickly - it's just that in this case they didn't ship as quickly as they had promised they would, and they offered no explanation.

Of the two items I purchased, one was totally wrong. I ordered 10 storage boxes and got 10 waste paper baskets! They arranged for return but I have yet to receive the storage boxes.

I was slightly disappointed that there was not a better picture of the merchandise. The product I purchased is similar to our stock of the same item number but not exact and I feel I was not able to make an informed decision because I could not view the merchandise better.
