my only issue wasn't actually with Crutchfield themselves but with their exchange arm so I won't go into the details here. From Crutchfield themselves the service was good, shipping time excellent and prices competitive.

The Crutchfield product line is great. My 'personal shopper', Marshall, was well versed in the product lines and recommended what turned out to be a great product. Shipping was very quick. I'll be back for the amplifier and speakers.

Overall a very good experience. The website is well set up and made shopping easy. I received emails with status updates from the order and received a tracking number to follow the status of my package. Standard shipping took a while but was free so I should not complain.

Shopping the website was good. Timely delivery. Needed help pairing my Bluetooth curve with the radio and the guy at customer service was very nice but didn't know how to do it. We basically figured it out together while talking on the phone and reading the manual.

Have been a customer for 20 or so years. Crutchfield consistently meets or exceeds my shopping expections. At times, they are not the cheapest, but if I am buying equipment that needs technical assistance to hook up, or troubleshooting, I always buy at Crutchfield. Crutchfield.com has a terrible, backwards, outdated,  and utterly silly security policy.   I supplied all the correct credit card information with a valid phone number and they cancelled my order because my phone number was not the number my credit card complany has on file.  Their official stance is that they cancelled it because my information didn't pass their security process.
I even shipped to the same address as my billing address.  I guess they want me to believe someone might have stolen my name, credit card information and be living with me but thanks to there validating my phone number they will catch this thief.
Ok, call the number verify my identity then process my order. No, what they did was call the number tell me I need to either tell them the phone number my credit card company has or they will cancel my order.  They CANCELLED my order.
My NUMBER 1 problem with their logic: A phone number is PUBLIC information. Cut and past my name into zabasearch and you will find it.  To say they are taking security very serious and then verify using PUBLIC information is a insulting.
