I have spent several thousand dollars at the Chiasso On-line Store over the past 7 months (furnishing a new city apartment) and while most of the products are durable and sturdy as the product photos might suggest... there have been some bad surprises with some items being of flimsy construction. Although Chiasso does send a confirming email that you're made a purchase, the email doesn't contain any details as to the purchase and instead directs you to log-in to the Chiasso Website to see those details. Not the norm. Chiasso's biggest problem however is its customer service. While they are a pleasant bunch to deal with, the actual customer service effort is very poor and has resulted in my having to cancel certain portions of my orders over the past six months on some big items. If your looking for nice design, this is a good site to shop, but if you don't want to wait MONTHS for delivery with no communication on important furniture items they you should look elsewhere. Lastly, they have 'white glove' service on some of their bigger items which they charge a premium for... but its nothing more than a freight delivery drop-off without any frills. Go figure.
