Customer Service should look for work at a better company

Please understand that I am not a complainer and I tend to roll with the punches but you should avoid BedBathStore at all costs! First of all when you go on the website there will be a pop-up that says "Friday only free shipping for The Prairie State enter code IL50!" Or for whatever day you go on the site and whatever state's nickname you are in. After you have laboriously entered your order and tried to check out you try to enter the code and --Surprise, Surprise! -- It wont take the code!!! Yes, at this point you could still abort but you are so tired of shopping and think you have found exactly what you wanted so you ordered anyway. Well, the curtains, which took a month to come, are NOT even close to the way they are advertised--size, quality, appearance and so you try to return them and guess what? Now you have to pay to return them yourself! It wouldn't be so bad if they had given the free shipping up front that they promised with a pop-up when you first go to their home page. This pop-up is emblazoned across your screen! You can't miss it. It seems like you might as well try them since you are getting free shipping. Customer service would not refund the original shipping (that they falsely promised to be free), either. They just said, "The code should have worked!" Well the code didn't work as they can tell by looking at my order, right? So in order to keep me as a customer they should have refunded the original supposedly free shipping, right? Nope. To let you know how wonderful the shipping was, I ordered the curtains on 4/21 and didn't receive them until 5/20!
