I want to be upset with these guys. I shopped for a Pentax *istDL on a Friday, but knowing that Pentax had just released a new camera I sent an email to ask if the price was going to drop since many other sellers had already dropped their price. On Monday I got an email saying that no price drop was anticipated. By Wednesday the price had dropped by $60! I was upset, because I almost bought it elsewhere! I ordered. That night it dropped another $22. I called the next morning, because I wanted to cancel and reorder and use that extra money for faster delivery. They were closing down that evening and would not be open again until Sunday... the lady told me that if I just left it alone it would ship that day (Thur) but if I tried to mess with the order it would not ship until Sunday. I left it alone.... and it did not ship until Sunday!! Now I was even more upset!
They told me that there is no price guarantee, but as a good-will gesture they refunded my $22... the camera arrived on the next Friday, so all in all I actually DID get the 8-10 day shipping that I paid for! Even though I was upset with them in the long run I got exactly what I payed for... in a timely manner... and without any bad customer service or pressure upgrade calls as I have read about others.
If I want to be nit-picky... the shipping box was not taped up as well as I might want, but it was all there.
I felt good dealing with Beach. They have a good rep online and they have the best price of any reputable dealer I found.
