To put things in perspective, I have spent more than $3,000 with Amazon in the last year. I find them to have good prices and actually, I have never had reason to complain when it comes to the timely delivery, etc. Everything I've ordered has been in good shape and delivered on time and with no glitches.
Here's the beef I have with them: As long as I'm ordering I find them to be responsive, however, when it come to customer service issues...I'm afraid they are no where to be seen. First, even their "contact us" section really doesn't lend itself to real communication with them. My issue now is a simple matter relating to having received the wrong size bags for my trash compactor.(which I bought from them) I have written them twice...no response. I tried the vendor from whom they were shipped and got zilch!!!!
So...I'm stuck with $130 worth of compactor bags which absolutely won't work and I can't get them to give me the time of day.
Actually, Amazon is not alone in their abysmal customer service...now days, it would seem the larger the company--the lousier the customer service you can expect. Sad, to be sure.
The only vote I've got is cast with my Visa card...If I get no service from Amazon....they will not get my Visa Vote!
