I recently ordered via Amazon a Plantronics Voyager PRO Headset
AMAZON ORDER NO: 002-9356880-5164257. August 6, 2009
It was shipped by VibeCellular.
It arrived August 11, 2009 in a small mailing envelope. Inside were two plastic bags, one containing the Voyager PRO Headset and a wall charger, the other a car charger. There was also a one two sided page set of instructions that appear to be photo copied from an original manual.
After charging and several tries, including trying to pair with my iPhone, the power switch light was never lit to indicate that the headset's power was on, nor did the headset work in my ear. IT IS DEFECTIVE and probably not "new."
There was no evidence in the package that this Voyager was new and original;
- there was no offical packaging or original box of any kind identifying the product and the manufacture.
-there was no document showing a product serial number nor was there a manufacturer's warranty.
VC claims they will only exchange "defective" items and will charge a 20% restocking fee if a refund is demanded. Why would anyone restock a defective item? Frankly I do not trust this company to provide original manufacture's products, and will try to get a complete refund, not an exchange.
I Called VC customer service and was told to contact vibcellular.com: I searched the site and could not find this particular headset model listed, adding to my doubts about the quality of VC's services and the products they sell via Amazon.
