I ordered two pairs of sandals one from altrec one from Cabelas. The pair I ordered from Cabelas was on my doorstep two days later. The pair I ordered from Altrec had not been shipped as of this writing 4 days later. I was going to take them on vacation and emailed asking them to ship sooner than the RIDICULOUS 10 days of processing stated on their site. No response. I called the next day asking if they could be shipped and arrived before my departure date of a week later. I told Chistie, if not I would like to cancel the order. She said "ok it's cancelled". None of the customer service standards of "well let me check on that" or "let's see what we can do" just "its cancelled" IOW, F--- off so I can get back to checking my email. I really like the sandals and I am infuriated by having to find another pair to take along. (other pair was not for me) Also, I shop on the internet on a regular basis and I cannot think of anywhere that states a 10 day "processing" period. However, it also says in the FAQ section that most items ship in 1-2 days....not true apparently. Thanks for nothing Altrec.
