Allergy Be Gone

I needed filters for my air purifier.  Allergy Be Gone listed the model needed as in stock and at a good price.  I used Paypal to pay.  They email a  tracking number a few days later that showed a package was sent from NY to NJ.  It has been over a month now, and tracking number shows it still in NJ ... You can draw your own conclusion.  I am glad I can make a claim against them with Paypal to try and get my money back.  Do yourself a favor - AVOID Allergy Be Gone.

The merchant's packing list ststed thst the order had shipped complete, but the box was missing one item. I placed a call to customer service to advise them of the problem and they told me that the order shipped complete and there was nothing they could do.

I ordered several air purifiers, in different models. As soon as they received the order, charged the total payment to my credit card. One week later, they announced the shipment, but I only received 30% of the items that I had ordered (and paid). After several emails (that they did never answered) explained that they were waiting for a factory shipment to send my purifiers. When I tried to get a shipment date, they answered by email that had been closed for the holiday (that already had passed). It seems that nobody reads the messages, and the customer does not deserve respect. They use to show as "in stock" any product, it is not uimprtant if is or not true; it matters to get the customer's payment. In my case they had played with my money during four weeks. If you are going to spend more than 100 bucks, buy at your own risk!

Deal with this web seller with extreme caution. I placed an order open since Aug 17, 2008 for a product that was listed as "in stock." Credit card was charged immediately (next business day). Started to check when nothing happened after two weeks.   Read full review...

I really appreciate Allergy Be Gone. I have chemical allergies and it is difficult to purchase electronic devices because of the off gasing when they are first plugged in. We have had to give other fans and stuff away because it just won't off gas, but we have had no problems with the fan or air conditioner we purchased from Allergy Be Gone. Thank you.

I initiated a purchase from this company due to the advertisement of quick processing and shipping and that items usually ship within 48 hrs. Several days later I received email that the item was delayed as it was not available. There was no mention of expected delivery date. I called and found out it would be several weeks to receive item, I cancelled the order and purchased the item from another web site.

I ordered my supplies only 1/2 of he order arrived even though the packing list said all products where enclosed. I phoned the company and they said they would send the missing items out and I am still waiting for them. Was not able to see any tracking info with the links and the tracking numbers given.!!

Some of these questions clearly do not apply. The item was suddenly backordered from the manufacturer but was still listed on their site after I was informed as "In Stock." This is the irresponsible part. They did not give me a ETA date but did keep good contact about the original backorder. I am torn about this company.

The mask was too bulky and had lots of shocking pink. It was not what I wanted to wear in town for my asthma. I found out too late that there's no return of face masks. I was disappointed.
