I advise you to never, EVER order from ActiveForever.com. I certainly won't! This is my complaint. At a cost of $6.12, I returned an item I'd bought from them on January 22 (roll-up drums, they were defective). On February 19 it came back to me with the address marked through, a corner ripped off, and "NO RMA" scribbled on the package. I called the company, and I was told I was supposed to get a "return authorization" before I sent the item back. I've had to do this occasionally with other companies, but the need to do this was always mentioned on the back of the packing list. There was no mention of getting such a number on ActiveForever's packing list. They said the information was on their web site and I "should have looked it up before ordering." WHO DOES THAT? I asked why the address was scratched out, and they said the address for returns was different than the address on the paperwork that came with the package, and I should have called to get the right address before returning the item. WHO DOES THAT?? You assume the only address mentioned is the right one! Then I was told I could return the item--again--but only if the item's package had not been "defaced" and only if I paid a 15% restocking fee. Well, someone had ripped open a corner of the package! It was "defaced!" This damage is very suspicious. I've never, ever had a problem with any packages. I'm a very careful packager. I'm certain his package had been deliberately ripped open so that the box the item was in was "defaced" and the item could not be returned. Furthermore, by the time I paid $12 ($6 twice) in shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee, my $54.75 expenditure would be down to $35.05! After a 30-minute conversation with no result and not being allowed to talk to a supervisor, I hung up. Looking online, I found their return policy and discovered that if I HAD returned the item for the second time, they would have sent it back to me AGAIN because the item's package had been defaced!!! I STILL would not have gotten a refund or even a credit! It's clear to me this entire process--sending defective merchandise, not making it clear a RMA # was required, putting the wrong return address on the packing slip, mysteriously "defaced" packaging, 15-20% "restocking" fee, etc. is all part of an elaborate scam. I beg you. Don't order from ActiveForever! This is a company of crooks and swindlers!!!!!!!
