Shopping at 1STOPlighting was simple. The site was easy to navigate. In all honesty, I had completed my order in under two minutes and received my order in excellent time. An excellent vendor!

pricing good. lamp was immediately back ordered by 6 weeks. They said they charged my credit card for the full price to "keep the order active". I called them to cancel the order because paying in advance for a backordered items is against my principles. They said that it wasn't necessary to cancel the order, and then reversed the credit card charge. We'll see if it comes in as promised.

My products came in earlier then expected which was a delight. The selection of products availible was the best out of all the sites I visited while shopping around. Communication from the company was good, but the products I ordered are back ordered until the end of October. I can't really answer most of these questions until I get my order. I don't like having to wait for these items, but considering it was the only place that offered these items I have no choice.

The product was out of stock and had to be back-ordered, but communication about that problem was prompt. There was no offer to cancel the order, and my credit card was charged before shipping the product, allegedly to assure that the order would remain active.

Before ordering the product I contacted customer service twice for information. The customer service technicians were knowledgable and helpful. One of my questions could not be answered right away and the rep said she would find out and call me back. She did! Within a few hours! The chandelier arrived on time and in what seems to be great condition. They also had a great price for this item as compared to many other web sites. I am very happy and will definately shop there again if I need more lighting.

The prices are fantastic. They were half the price of the designer store where we first found the lamps. The items were easy to track and arrived on time. When they arrived, one lamp had a damaged shade. We called customer service and they immediately shipped out a replacement. We also order two sconces. The package had the wrong installation brackets - No fault of 1STOPlighting. I called and they were able to have the company ship out what I needed.

I still haven't opened the boxes yet, but delivery was fast and shopping online was very easy and enjoyable. The pictures are a great selling tool. I still show that one item is back ordered #CRBA103-AL WHICH I ASSUME SHOULD BE ARRIVING SOON.

Regarding delivery speed: I received part of my order in a timely matter. The other part I have yet to receive, which brings up a customer service issue: I would appreciate better communication with order status. My order (originated 6/8/05) was supposed to ship 6/20/05. I had still not received it or any kind of communication regarding its status by 7/5/05, so I requested an update. I received an update (the next day-good) stating it would most likely ship 7/11/05. So, I will probably receive it about 6 weeks after the original order date...kind of a bummer, since online it says 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Regarding order accuracy: I can speak for the first part of my order - it was accurate. I have yet to determine the accuracy of the part not received.

Overall, I liked the competitive prices and selection, but was disappointed with communication and delivery speed.

1STOPlighting had the best competitive prices of the several sites I visited on-line.I especially found their website to be the easiest to maneuver. I received my order much sooner than expected and everything was just as I ordered. I had some trouble submitting my order on-line (a computer glitch) so I called customer service and they were able to complete my order over the phone. I would order from them again, and I have recommended them to family.
